Hello and welcome to Arloa! I'm Ryan Sevey, the CEO and co-founder. Today, I'd like to share a story that many of you might find echoes your own - a story of challenge, learning, and determination.
In 2022, our family faced a defining moment – our son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This diagnosis set my wife and me on a challenging journey. I remember nights spent poring over research, days filled with meetings with doctors, psychologists, and school officials. It was a whirlwind of information, often overwhelming and confusing.
We were lucky to have a friend experienced in the world of autism who guided us through the early steps. Her support was invaluable, but it made me realize the plight of families without such guidance. How many are struggling, feeling alone and lost in a complex system?
This realization spurred me to engage with the special education and special needs community. I heard stories from many parents, echoing our struggles. A recurring theme was the need for effective advocacy - the kind that often comes with a steep price tag, sometimes as high as $300 per hour!
This is where Arloa steps in.
Arloa is more than a website or a resource; it's an AI-powered co-pilot for parents navigating the special needs journey. Our goal is to harness the power of AI to transform how you support and advocate for your child. Whether it's understanding IEPs and ETRs, applying for services, or setting new goals, Arloa is here to guide and support you.
We've lived these challenges and understand the emotional toll they take. Arloa is designed to lighten this load, offering clarity and direction. It's about empowering you to be the best advocate for your child, equipping you with the tools and knowledge to navigate this journey confidently.
As we embark on this journey with Arloa, we're thrilled about what lies ahead. The potential to make a significant difference in the lives of our children is immense, and we can't wait to share each step with you.
Stay tuned for updates, join our community, and share your stories. Together, we're not just making a difference; we're building a supportive network for parents just like you.
Thank you for being part of this mission. We're in this together, and the journey is just beginning.
Warm regards,
Ryan Sevey
